Research helps finding solutions to the problem arising in various fronts. Underpinning professional learning of knowledge, skills and understanding, the research wing connects to sources of information and networks of the professional supports.
The Research and Development Cell of the college was introduced with the aims to provide holistic approach in the field of scientific research among the faculty and students of the college whereby they can disseminate, exchange ideas and thoughts in the field of research. Since then members of the Research Cell along with the Principal of the College regularly involve in carrying out various activities of the ‘Cell’ and other course of actions.
Since its inception the “Research and Development Cell” of the college plays a significant role in mobilising teachers of various departments and students of the college to organise and actively participations in the scientific research, conducting seminar, writing research proposal and submission of it to obtain sponsorships from the various agencies. It has also been consistently encouraged the faculty members to write research paper and publish it in a leading Journal and edited books as well as presenting the research paper at the National and International Seminar across the country.

MISSION:
- Mobilizing teachers and students of the college to actively participate in scientific research by conducting departmental/state/national/international seminars; publishing quality research articles, edited books; organizing research related workshops/orientation programmes; submitting research project proposal etc.
OBJECTIVES AND GOALS:
- To increase the number of research publication in leading journal, and editorial books.
- To organise Departmental/State/ National/International Seminars.
- To increase the number of research projects.
- To conduct activities and observe the important events, such as World Book Day, World Intellectual Property Day, Copy right Day, etc.
- To organise workshops for the faculty to develop the culture of research related activities.
