Don Bosco College, Itanagar is the first private degree college in the state of Arunachal Pradesh. It has the credit of being the first private college that is permanently affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University. The Management of the college is with the Salesians of Don Bosco, Province of Dimapur. The Provincial who is the Superior of the Salesians of Don Bosco, Dimapur Province of Northeast India along with his council is the Governing Body of the college and the final authority for all policy matters pertaining to the college. The Provincial, the President of the Governing Body constitutes the Managing Committee of the college as per the rules and directives of the Salesian Society and in keeping with the norms and requirements of the University.
